Smart Receipts is built with a privacy-first approach. All your receipts and expenses are stored locally on your iPhone. We never collect, upload, or sell your data. The app works fully offline with no account required.
Offline-First Storage
All data is stored locally on your device using Core Data. No account required, no cloud sync by default. Your receipts and expenses never leave your iPhone unless you choose to enable Dropbox backup.
Face ID & Touch ID Lock
Protect your financial data with biometric authentication. Enable Face ID or Touch ID lock in Settings to require authentication every time you open the app.
No Data Collection
Smart Receipts does not collect any personal data. We use Firebase Analytics for anonymous app usage metrics only — no receipt data, no financial information, no personal identifiers are ever transmitted.
Your Data, Your Control
Since all data stays on your device, there is nothing stored on our servers. You have full control over your receipts and expenses at all times.

Smart Receipts uses AI to extract merchant, date, total, and tax from your receipt photos automatically.
